Lady Greyhounds Fall in Opener

Down by 13 at the half, the Lady Greyhounds just couldn't keep up in the second half, falling 100-64 to Three Rivers Community College (MO) in their season opener.

Javia Wilson led ASU Mid-South with 17 points to go with 7 rebounds while Nariah Matthews scored 14 and Jayla Woods chipped in 10 points. Haley Morgan led the team with 9 rebounds to go with 4 points, and Tatyana Burks dished out a team-high 5 assists to go with 9 points.

The Lady Greyhounds travel to Lewis & Clark Community College (IL) Saturday before hosting the Lady Greyhound Classic the following weekend.
