Greyhounds Hold Steady at #15
For the second consecutive week, the Greyhounds (24-5) are ranked #15 in the NJCAA National Poll.
For the second consecutive week, the Greyhounds (24-5) are ranked #15 in the NJCAA National Poll. This is their third week in the poll, having entered at #19 and moving up to #15 last week.
The Greyhounds are also ranked in several other categories as they are currently fifth in the nation in scoring, averaging 95.4 points per game. They are also ranked sixth in field goal percentage (49.7%), eighth in rebounding (46.6 rebounds per game), ninth in assists (21.2 assists per game), and 16th in steals (10.6 steals per game).
Individually, Shaheed Halk continues to lead the NJCAA in assist-to-turnover ratio (6.0:1) while Trevor Banks and Kamron Rose are ranked in field goal percentage 16th (61.8%) and 18th (61.6%), respectively. Jerrick Cole is ranked 26th in three-point field goal percentage (44.3%), and Banks is ranked 41st in offensive rebounds (3.1 per game).
The Greyhounds host the NJCAA Region 2 Championship Saturday at 1:00 p.m., and admission is free in honor of #GreyhoundNation Appreciation Day.
