Greyhounds Take Bite Out of Pioneers

Seven Greyhounds scored in double figures in taking a 103-56 victory over Crowley's Ridge College JV Monday night at The Dog House.

The Greyhounds (16-5) raced to a 52-26 lead with stifling defense and an electric transition game while holding the Pioneers to 29.6% shooting and winning the battle of the boards 72-34. 

Geordan Reed led all scorers with 17 points, Trevor Banks hit for 13, Terrandus Smith and Jerrick Cole scored 12 points each, Montee Randle and Terrikous Smith tallied 11 points apiece, and Kamron Rose chipped in 10 points. Rose and Terrandus Smith each pulled down 13 rebounds, and Randle dished out a game-high seven assists to go with eight rebounds.

The Greyhounds next host Central Baptist College JV Thursday in the first of two matchups. Tipoff is at 6:00pm at The Dog House.
