Bio

Reed averaged 13.7 points and 5.2 rebounds per game and shot 59% from the field, 29% from the three-point line and 79% from the free throw line as South Side, a perennial power in West Tennessee, finished the season one game shy of another state tournament appearance after winning the state title in 2014 under Head Coach DaMonn Fuller.

Named to the preseason Jackson Sun Super Senior Team before capturing 14-AA All-Conference honors, Reed was named to the 7AA All-Region Honorable Mention team and as a sophomore was named the All-West Tennessee Newcomer of the Year. He will join two former teammates in Terrandus Smith and Terrikous Smith, who played key roles on the Greyhounds' Region 2 Championship team and will return in 2017-18 for their sophomore seasons, as well as fellow freshman Kamron Rose.
