Offensive Struggles Continue as Lady Greyhounds Fall to Pearl River in Tip-Off Classic Finale
WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. — ASU Mid-South's offensive challenges persisted on Saturday as the Lady Greyhounds fell to Pearl River 74–40 in the final game of the Lady Greyhound Tip-Off Classic.
Turnovers once again played a major role, with Pearl River forcing 26 ASU Mid-South giveaways. The decisive stretch came in the second quarter, where the Lady Wildcats outscored the Greyhounds 16–3 to build a lead they never relinquished. Although ASU Mid-South found more rhythm in the second half, the early deficit proved too much to overcome.

Jae'La Smith led Pearl River with 22 points, while Cy'Nara Robinson added a strong double-double performance with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Mattison Bell provided a spark off the bench, leading all reserves with 11 points.
ASU Mid-South was led by Alana Whiten, who scored 15 points and knocked down four three-pointers to pace the Lady Greyhounds' offense. With the loss, ASU Mid-South drops to 2–5 on the season.
The Lady Greyhounds return to action on Tuesday, November 18, when they travel to Senatobia, Mississippi, to face Northwest Mississippi. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
