Lady Greyhounds Earn First Win of the Season Over Albany Tech, 75-63
Lynchburg, Tenn. — The ASU Mid-South Lady Greyhounds picked up their first win of the season with a 75-63 victory over Albany Technical College on the road Monday night.
Alana Whiten led the way for the Lady Greyhounds with a stellar performance, scoring 26 points and knocking down eight three-pointers to fuel the offense. Ka'mbili Nelson and T'Nya Ray added 13 points apiece, while Lula-Jae Tranfaglia contributed 11 points in the win.
With the victory, ASU Mid-South (1-1) bounced back strong following their season opener and will look to build on the momentum in their next matchup as they host Northwest Mississippi Thursday, November 6 in West Memphis. This will be the Lady Greyhounds home opener. Tip-off is set for 5:30.
