The Lady Greyhounds comeback attempt was thwarted in the final period as they dropped a 72-59 decision to the North Central Missouri College Lady Pirates Saturday at The Dog House in West Memphis.
After dropping both games in region play to the second-seeded North Arkansas Lady Pioneers, the Lady Greyhounds found the magic touch and earned a 69-59 victory Saturday at Pioneer Pavilion in Harrison to advance to Monday's Region 2 Tournament Championship Game.
Despite holding the North Arkansas College Lady Pioneers without a three-pointer, ASU Mid-South lost a 79-69 decision Saturday at The Dog House in West Memphis.
The 2022-23 Lady Greyhounds will feature an entire new team including their head coach as Addie Lees takes the helm in her first year at ASU Mid-South.
