Transferring from Chattanooga State Community College, Simmons started 21 of 26 games for the Lady Tigers and averaged 8.4 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game for a team that finished 8-19 on the season.
In high school, she led Hiram (GA) to a region championship while earning All-Conference honors all four years and being named to the All-Region team her last three years, taking First Team honors as both a junior and senior for Head Coach Michelle Caldwell.
