Playing the first game at the Roughrider Classic in Neosho, Missouri, the Lady Greyhounds got down early to Mineral Area College and fell 71-61 Friday night.
Down 28-21 at the half, ASU Mid-South saw Samantha Jackson score all 15 of her points in the second half only to come up short in the fourth quarter. Alesha Penister scored 10 points for the Lady Greyhounds while Sable Greer finished with eight points and Raven Morrow and Rachel Gramling chipped in six points each.
Next up for ASU Mid-South is a matchup with the host team, Crowder College, on Saturday at 3:00pm.
