The Lady Greyhounds battled hard but left Harrison with two losses in the opening weekend of the 2015-16 season.
Playing the host team, North Arkansas College, in Friday's opener, ASU Mid-South battled hard in the first half but trailed 37-31 at halftime. The Lady Greyhounds then made a run down the stretch but came up short in a 78-73 loss to the Lady Pioneers. Although ASU Mid-South forced 16 turnovers, North Arkansas knocked down 14 of 16 free throws for the game.
In Saturday's game, the Lady Greyhounds took on Crowder College from Missouri, and only trailed 36-35 at the half. But in the second half Crowder's shooting took over as they shot over 52% from the field and 45% from the three-point line to take a 82-62 win.
The Lady Greyhounds return to the friendly confines of The Dog House on Thursday as they host Northwest Mississippi at 5:00pm with the men following at 7:00pm.
