Bio
Samuel returns for his second season with ASU Mid-South. During his freshman season, Chapin would average 6.5 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game. He would appear in all 32 games for the Greyhounds last season starting in 14 games. He scored double figures in 9 games with a season high of 13 at Northwest Mississippi on November 9th.
Chapin comes to ASU Mid-South after a stellar career at Joe T. Robinson High School. Chapin was 3 time All-Conference and 2 time All-State. During his Senior season, Chapin was listed as SBLive top senior, and top shooting guard lists. During his high school career, Chapin helped lead Robinson to the state quarterfinals as a Junior, and a state tournament appearance as a Senior. Chapin averaged 14 points, and 6 rebounds a game as a Senior. He would also go on to score over 1,000 points during his high school career.
