Bio

Spencer Simes joins the Greyhounds after helping lead the North Little Rock Charging Wildcats (22-5) to the 6A State Tournament quarterfinals before falling to eventual Co-State Champion Conway. The Charging Wildcats won the ultra-tough 6A-Central conference with a 13-1 record under Head Coach Johnny Rice.

Known for his strong, physical play, Simes averaged 14.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game while shooting 57% from the field. He earned All-Conference honors as well as being named to both the 6A All-State team and the 6A All-State Tournament team.

Playing varsity for three seasons, Simes has been a part of arguably the state's top basketball program in the last decade and played with some of the nation's top talent. As a sophomore, he was part of a 26-5 squad that won the 7A State Championship, playing with concensus national top 100 player Moses Moody who is now with the Arkansas Razorbacks.

His junior year ended with a 22-9 record in the state tournament quarterfinals when he teamed up with current Greyhound Kylon McCullough and three-star guard Collin Moore who recently signed with Georgia State. And this past season he played on a team with concensus national top 100 players Kel'El Ware (class of 2022) and Bryson Warren (class of 2023).
