Bio
Kylon McCullough returns for his sophomore season after playing in 21 of 33 games as a freshman while averaging 3.6 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game in limited minutes. He shot an outstanding 57.4% from the field, 43.8% from the three-point line, and 77.8% from the free throw line which ranked him in the team's top five in all three categories.
Coming to the Greyhounds from North Little Rock High School, he missed the last 11 games of his senior season after tearing his meniscus but was averaging 15.2 points and 5.4 rebounds and shooting 55% from the field, 40% from the three-point line and 75.3% from the free throw line before being sidelined the rest of the season. The Wildcats were 16-4 with McCullough, losing only one game to an in-state team, and went 6-5 the rest of the way without him, finishing 22-9 overall and losing in the state tournament quarterfinals. In fact, the Wildcats beat the eventual state champion Ft. Smith Northside Grizzlies twice with McCullough in the lineup.
While he did not appear in enough conference games for postseason honors, McCullough was named to the Barry Pruitt Hurricane Classic All-Tournament Team as North Little Rock went 3-0, beating host Jonesboro in the finals in which he scored 28 points.
McCullough's path to this point has been quite the journey as he did not play organized basketball until his junior year after being cut from the team as a freshman and sophomore. Head Coach Johnny Rice then gave him a spot on the junior varsity his junior season, and he saw limited minutes in a handful of varsity games before having a breakout senior season that was cut short by injury.

For the first time in five years the Greyhounds are not Region Champions as they fell 82-66 at SAU Tech Saturday at Rocket Arena in the NJCAA Region 2 Championship game.
Using a stingy defense of their home turf, the Greyhounds took a 68-64 victory over UA Cossatot to end the Colts' season and advance to the NJCAA Region 2 Tournament Championship game this Saturday at 2:00pm.
In their final regular-season game of the year, ASU Mid-South defeated the National Park College Nighthawks 90-73 Monday at The Dog House to secure the #2 seed heading into the NJCAA Region 2 Tournament held at home sites.
A 16-5 run helped overcome a 7-point halftime deficit as the Greyhounds held on at the end for an 80-76 victory over the North Arkansas College Pioneers Saturday at The Dog House in West Memphis.
