Bio

As the returning leader in both points and rebounds, Mason averaged 5.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game while shooting 47.7% from the field and 72.5% from the free throw line. He played in every game as a freshman, getting nine starts, and scored in 28 of 29 contests as he helped the Greyhounds lead the nation in rebounding.

Mason helped lead Horn Lake High School to a 22-7 record and a second-place finish in 6A Region 1 before capturing the District 2 Championship and advancing to the quarterfinals of the state tournament. The Eagles finished the season ranked #12 overall in the state of Mississippi according to MaxPreps.com.

Mason served as team captain and averaged 7 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists from the low post position. He was a four-year letterman for the Eagles and instrumental in the success of one of the top programs in North Mississippi for head coach Tori Harris.
