Bio
Tappin helped Hall High School to a 20-9 overall record and 10-4 conference mark in the ultra-tough 6A East conference before falling in the state tournament semifinals. On the season, he led Hall in scoring with over 15 points per game while pulling down 5 rebounds and earning All-Conference and All-State Tournament honors before playing in the Pulaski County All-Star Game. His career-high was 42 points in a double-overtime loss to Conway.
After winning a state championship his sophomore year at Sylvan Hills High School for Coach Kevin Davis, Tappin finished his high school career playing for Hall head coach Jon Coleman.
