Lady Greyhounds Take Double-OT Thriller

The Lady Greyhounds used a staunch defense to kick start their transition game in the second overtime to take an exciting 92-84 win over Northwest Mississippi Community College at The Dog House.

Summer Abram's fifth 3-pointer on the night iced the game as Abram tied Sable Greer for scoring honors with each hitting for 20 points while Javia Wilson knocked down 13 points to go with 10 rebounds, and Alesha Penister finished with 13 points, 6 boards, 4 assists and 5 steals. Teiangula Boston took top rebounding honors by pulling down 13 caroms to go with 8 points.

The Lady Greyhounds now look forward to the Lady Greyhound Classic this weekend with games scheduled for Friday and Saturday including a rematch of last season's District P Championship Game as ASU Mid-South hosts St. Louis Community College Saturday at 2:00pm.
