Team Effort Thrusts Lady Greyhounds Past Southwest Tennessee

ASU Mid-South saw all six participants score at least nine points as the Lady Greyhounds took a 74-60 victory over Southwest Tennessee Community College Thursday at The Dog House.

The win broke a three-game losing skid as Sable Greer scored a game-high 20 points and Samantha Jackson finished with 14 points and a career-high 22 rebounds. Haley Morgan and Alesha Penister both scored 11 points while Ja'Brisha Hawkins and Raven Morrow chipped in nine points each. Morgan also finished with a double-double as she pulled down ten rebounds.

The Lady Greyhounds led 40-25 at the half and cruised most of the second-half as the Lady Saluqis never seriously threatened as ASU Mid-South held a 54-36 advantage on the boards.

Next up is a home matchup on Saturday, January 7, with Crowder College, a team who defeated the Lady Greyhounds 89-79 on December 10 in Neosho, Missouri. Tipoff is at 2:00 p.m.
