Lady Greyhounds Drop Road Decision

Playing their second game in a row on the road in Mississippi, the Lady Greyhounds fell to Holmes Community College 71-63 Thursday night in Goodman.

Down 33-27 at the half, the Lady Greyhounds battled back to within 52-48 at the end of the third quarter, but the Lady Bulldogs outscored ASU Mid-South 19-15 in the final period to seal the win.

Raven Morrow and Samantha Jackson scored 15 points each while Rachel Gramling finished with 11 for the Lady Greyhounds who saw two players foul out and two others finish the game with four fouls.

ASU Mid-South returns to the friendly confines of The Dog House for a rematch with Columbia State CC on Monday before hosting the Lady Greyhound Classic on November 18-19.
