Southwest Tennessee Bests Lady Greyhounds

In their first game in three weeks coming back from the Christmas break, the Lady Greyhounds couldn't get into a shooting rhythm and fell 85-71 at Southwest Tennessee Community College Wednesday in Memphis.

Ja'Brisha Hawkins led ASU Mid-South scorers with 22 points while Kimberly Reed put in 20 and Kelsey Green finished with a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds. Samantha Jackson pulled down a team-high 14 rebounds to go with 9 points, but the Lady Greyhounds committed 22 turnovers and shot just under 33% from the field for the game.

Next up is a Saturday matchup with Region 2 rival Arkansas Baptist College with tipoff at The Dog House scheduled for 2:00 p.m. followed by the men's game.
