Mid-South Community College has partnered with PrestoSports to
create a new internet home for the Greyhounds,
Launched January 15, 2015, MSCCgreyhounds.com will provide a fan experience that Greyhound fans deserve and present a new face for Mid-South Athletics.
"This is something that has been in the works the last two years," Athletic Director Chris Parker said. "It has been a process and will continue to be a work in progress as we strive to build a website that can capture the championship culture that our student-athletes, coaches and fans deserve and allow new recruits to see and get to know."
The new website is designed with both fans and recruits in mind and will allow MSCC Athletics to reach more people than ever before with interactive statistics, links to individual player profiles, program history, and dozens of other features.
"One of the most attractive things about this site is its ability to grow with our programs," said Parker. "This site allows us to continue to add sections and features that will help sell our institution to the masses, including game video and webcasting, archiving our sports seasons, and integrating our social media sites."
PrestoSports provides the content management system that allows
colleges, universities and high schools across North America to
host sites that can represent each client. Prestosport's
clients include hundreds of NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA colleges and
universities from the University of Akron to Yale University.
"PrestoSports gives us a great product that our fans, corporate sponsors, recruits and current student-athletes will be excited about," Parker said. "This website gives us the flexibility of any Division I athletic website in the country."
