The Greyhounds hit a school-record 18 three-pointers to race past the Colts of the University of Arkansas Cossatot 122-53 Saturday at The Dog House.
Jalen Lynn paced ASU Mid-South by hitting 9-of-11 from beyond the arc on his way to 31 points. Caleb Henry knocked down 3-of-4 from the arc and finished with 21 points while Garret Finley hit for 15 points and pulled down a game-high 9 rebounds. Treay Jamison scored 12 points and dished out a game-high 6 assists, and Ike Moore scored 11 points.
The Greyhounds' 18 three-pointers broke the school record for three-pointers in a game of 16 set against Faith Preparatory Academy on February 18, 2016, and their 18-for-24 (75.0%) performance from the arc also broke the record for three-point field goal percentage of 64.0% (14-22) set earlier this season against West Kentucky on January 31. Besides Lynn and Henry going a combined 12-of-15, Ike Moore (3-5), Treay Jamison (2-2), and Garret Finley (1-1) all hit three-pointers on the way to the records.
The Greyhounds next go on a two-game road swing, playing Wednesday at St. Louis Community College and then playing Thursday in Paducah against West Kentucky. The team returns to The Dog House Saturday at 2:00pm as they host Southern Arkansas University Tech who defeated the Greyhounds in Camden last month.
