2014-15 All-Region Team Named

The 2014-15 NJCAA All-Region Basketball Teams were announced for Region 2, with both Greyhound teams represented.

First-team honorees for the Lady Greyhounds included Kierra Adams and Sasha Giles while Victoria Broady and Ivory Thornton took second-team honors.

For the men, Kaylon Tappin and Tasmania Jones earned first team accolades while Justin Harris and Shaquille Culbreath were named to the second team.

Adams led the Lady Greyhounds with 21.6 points and 12.3 rebounds while shooting 56.3% from the field this season. Giles led the Lady Greyhounds in assists (9.3) and steals (3.4) while scoring 13.3 points and pulling in 5.8 rebounds per game. Broady averaged 11.9 points and 3.5 rebounds while Thornton chipped in 11.7 points and 1.9 rebounds per contest.

Tappin led the Greyhounds with 16.7 points and shooting 38.5% from the arc while pulling down 4 rebounds and collecting 1.5 steals per game. Jones led the team in rebounds (6.0) and field goal percentage (56.2%) while scoring 11.9 points per game. Harris averaged 9.0 points and 5.0 rebounds while shooting 51% from the field and Culbreath scored 10.0 points and pulled down 4.3 rebounds per game while leading the team from the free throw line (80.7%).
